Notification Integrations

Notifications are a key component of alerts to keep your team informed of issues in real-time. The Metrika Platform currently supports alert notifications for Email, PagerDuty, Slack, OpsGenie, Discord, Telegram, and Webhook.

This page provides an overview of how to set up notification integrations.

To enable notifications for Email, PagerDuty, Slack, OpsGenie, Discord, Telegram, or Webhook click on your avatar at the top right of your screen to open up the right sidebar, and click "Settings". Then follow the steps for the system you want to setup.

Email

By default, alert notifications will be enabled for email. You can disable notifications through email. Note that we will always send service announcements through email regardless of this setting.

PagerDuty

• Follow the directions for "Create a New Service" here

• For the Integration Type, choose the option to "Use our API directly" (Events API v2) to get an integration key.

Slack

• Follow steps #1-3 to generate a webhook URL here

Opsgenie

• Follow the directions for adding an API key here

• Check the box if you are using an EU instance of Opsgenie.

Discord

Telegram

• Follow the directions for “Create a Telegram bot” and “Get Channel details” to create a bot, give it access to a channel, and get the API Token & Chat Id: https://help.nethunt.com/en/articles/6253243-how-to-make-an-api-call-to-the-telegram-channel.

Webhook

• Add your webhook address.
