Account Balance Zero

What is an Account Balance Zero alert?

• An Algorand account can be closed and removed from the ledger (i.e. its stake/balance can be zeroed out) via a close transaction. In order to keep users informed about their account's state, we provide an alert when the account has been closed.

How are account balance zero alerts triggered?

• Account closed alerts get triggered immediately upon the closing of an account.

What notifications will I receive?

• You will receive a single email notification per address you are subscribed to for each closing event.

How do I resolve it?

• This is an informational alert, so no resolution is needed.
