FAQs
Here are some common questions we receive. If you have further questions that are not addressed here, feel free to reach out to us at support@metrika.co.
What is Metrika?
Metrika delivers performance and reliability for blockchain networks with an operational intelligence platform. The Ethereum monitoring tools available on the Metrika platform enable monitoring and real-time alerting so that users can maintain the health of their validators and the overall Ethereum network.
How does a subscription work? How many subscriptions can I have?
A subscription is a set of alerts tied to a specific Ethereum validator. Users can create a subscription for each Ethereum validator they want to monitor, and there is no limit on the number of subscriptions you can create.
To create a subscription for a validator, go to the Alert Subscriptions page. Check out our Getting Started documentation for instructions on how to set-up subscriptions.
Do I need to own an Ethereum validator to create a subscription?
No, anyone can create a subscription on any valid Ethereum validator.
How can I modify my subscriptions? What happens if I delete a subscription?
After a subscription is created, you can modify, mute, or delete the subscription.
Modify: Add or remove alerts for the subscription.
Mute: Turn off notifications for all alerts on the subscription. Alerts will still show up in the Alert Activity view in the platform, but notifications will not send until the subscription is un-muted.
Delete: Permanently delete the subscription and all alert history. This action is not reversible. You can always create a new subscription for the same validator at a later point, but the history of alerts can not be recovered.
Check out our Getting Started documentation for instructions on how to update subscriptions.
Who will see these alerts?
When an alert is triggered, only the email address registered on the Metrika platform will receive a notification. These emails can be forwarded to any stakeholders who can help take action or who need to be notified about the health of the validator.
Can I share access to my Metrika Platform account with other parties?
We currently only allow users to log-in using Google or Github authentication, and so we recommend users do not share their authentication details with other parties. We recommend forwarding any relevant alert emails with other parties, instead of sharing access to your Metrika Platform account itself.
I accidentally deleted my Metrika Platform account. How do I recover my account?
In order to be compliant with regulations, once you delete your account we delete all data and records associated with your account. Unfortunately, this means we cannot recover your Metrika Platform account or restore your subscriptions.
What data do you collect?
We retain the profile data provided by the chosen authentication service, which consists of public profile information and your email address. We also collect data on platform usage, such as subscription information.
How can I make suggestions on features?
