Bid Fault

What are Bid Fault alerts?

Alert when a Relay has one of the following bid faults: Consensus Layer, Data Validation, Registration Preference

How do we Calculate It?

• Validate the bid follows Consensus Layer specifications. In particular timestamp, parent hash, and previous randao.

• Validate if the bid's gas limit follows ethereum specifications and the proposer registration.

• Validate if the bid follows Ethereum Specifications (e.g.: BLS12-381 Public keys should be 96 bytes long).

Why is it important?

It helps to detect and alert users to any potential issues with the relay, so users can take appropriate action, for example switching to a different relay.
